"A new voice for balance and integrity in state government." How about: "the single most boring campaign slogan in the history of political communication." He's got to be kidding. Posted by: scooby dooby doo at August 11, 2005 03:16 PMA voice for "balance and bipartisanship; independence and integrity" in Texas Legislature What's wrong with that? Do you find that slogon boring as well? So I guess it's also too boring for you having Mark Strama in the lege because that very quote headlined his filing press release in December of 2003. This is West Austin and Travis County we are talking about. Todd Baxter. Not 7th and Chicon. Posted by: Karl-Thomas at August 11, 2005 04:04 PMWhy do I think Andy Brown is trying to sell me a Dell Computer? Dude - you bought a bad website. On the other hand, the good people in Westlake, the uber rich, are incredibly concerned about economic developement opportunities for their under represented nieghbors - the less fortunate comfortably rich. Posted by: Rick Perry's Comb at August 11, 2005 07:50 PMDudes i said it before and i sez it again - andy brown is tame and lame like john kerry. we need a burlap wearin, big reefer smokin, bush hatin, socialism spoutin, mother earth savin, anti religious wacko fightin, anti deodorant sportin, fire breathin, vitriolic speakin, hard core libby in this race!!! i want to know more about this hobie dean candidate and when he'll run. andy is just not the fire we need peoples!! oh, and i heard baxter's mom is meredith baxter-berney from family ties. you know, the mom. she's a big lib and if she gets involved in this race its lights out for andy pandy. dude, he's also playing up that he went to mccallum?!? that's not in the dist and only a few folks in that dist send kids there. we need someone else if we are going to win this race!!! wake out and whack out austin!!!! Posted by: Jorge at August 11, 2005 09:40 PMJorge scares me. Make him stop talking like that. Posted by: Rick Perry's Comb at August 11, 2005 09:43 PMI'm with the Comb, but I think Jorge sees dead people. Posted by: Julia Ward Howe at August 11, 2005 11:04 PMRE: Andy Brown's boring slogan. I agree with Scooby. Strama's was atleast catchy. I appreciate the alliteration. Brown's, to quote the West Wing, "lacks poetry". ALSO, has anyone looked at the volunteer page on his site? Homeboy should learn that the B comes before the M in "submit". Posted by: nadia at August 15, 2005 12:58 PMIt looks like they've fixed the spelling error. Peronsally, I'd like to see the site's blog take on an interactive form. Also, I'd enjoy being able to get an actively linked ad (like the one I got from the Chris Bell site) to place on my blog. Todd Baxter, I'd like to note, has no blog at all. Posted by: Rip Avery at August 16, 2005 09:41 PM
