Let him take Zell and all the other Dixiecrats with him. On the plus side, any time the bandwagon starts loading up with folks just looking to ride a winner, it soon gets bogged down with losers.

In the interest of full disclosure, I wanted Representative Lewis to lose, but ...

He not only opposed redistricting, he BOYCOTTED the House over redistricting, he TESTIFIED in federal court against the new plan, he voted against ALL tort reform measure, he voted against ALL health and human service cuts, etc.

His only sin was signing on with Speaker Craddick after the Speaker already had the votes to win. Can someone explain his sins against Democratic values?
