I'm going to wait for polls that weren't conducted as he was announcing his campaign to see if it isn't more than a name in the news burst. Plus neither of those takes into account his initial flip-flops and missteps this week.
I'll look to next weeks polls and reerve judgement until then. :)
Posted by Karl-T at September 23, 2003 02:25 AMI am guessing from your list of links on the side that at least one of you is a Dean supporter. So I just wanted to let you know, in case you did not already know, that the bat is back up and the campaign is trying to raise $5 million in ten days. So if you have not already donated to the effort and would like to, you can donate here. If you would like to put the bat on your website and link it to the contribution page, the img src is http://images.deanforamerica.com/bat/5.5.bat.gif. Keep up the good work with your site and hopefully January 2005 will bring you reprieve from ten years under Bush control.
Posted by Laura in DC at September 23, 2003 01:27 PMHow do you figure a "big lead" to be one that is within the margin of error?
Clark is off to a good start, mainly because he is seen as giving the liberals the illusion of being tough on security and military issues. Something of which they desperately need to convince their sheep.
