Comments: Air America Radio Coming to Austin

Should we ask Andrea Yates?

What about that "1st amendment radio" or whatever that is in Austin. My wife and I were blown away by the unbridled "leftiness" of that station.

If you meant "conventional" radio, then yeah.

Finally! I was poking around this morning on radio websites to see if there were any stations around here moving to any progressive talk shows. By the way, I noticed several weeks ago a station on 90.10 that I didn't know about before. It also streams live at rbnlive.com and seems to be geared towards Alex Jones/conspiracy type stuff. Looks like it is out of Round Rock. Maybe that's the "1st amendment radio" mentioned in the previous comment. It's not all that lefty, though, according to some of the commentators I've heard on it.

That is great news for those us of us who pay for satellite radio to listen to air america and sirius. Hopefully it will be on 1600 am because it has pretty good reception even outside of Austin. Much better then 1490.
