Comments: Air America coming to Houston?

I find it difficult to imagine that Clear Channel Communications would allow any of its stations to get anywhere near providing a mouthpiece for progressive / liberal commentary. Hell, even Sam Donaldson was too much for KTRH here in Houston. But this is the wave of the future in my view...the Republicans and their corporate minions have made it clear: no dissenting views are permitted to be heard. Welcome to America.

Welcome to Democratic America, the land of the oppressed. Invite the North Koreans, the Cubans, the Haitians, the Myanmarians, the Chechnians to come oversee our elections to make sure we have a fair election. Make sure the airwaves are free for all.

Those evil Republicans can't be trusted, just ask Terry M. and B. Barnes. Terry says that those forged documents were a Karl Rove plant. He gave them to some unsuspecting DNC staffer, who did not know who Rove was. That staffer gave them to CBS/Kerry-Edwards to put on the air via "60 MinutesII". Don't research the authenticity of these documents. Don't contact the family for verification. Do a Goggle of the terms refered to in these documents. Great Truman's ghost.

Then there's NBC/Kerry-Edwards "Today Show "broadcast of Kitty Kelley's book on monday, tuesday, and wednesday. She once wrote that while President Reagan was in the Oval Office, Nancy was upstairs giving Frank Sanatra a "Lewinski". Great journalism being practiced by both of these networks. Yet John O'Neal doesn't get a word.

LATimes reports that Kerry is reducing his ad buy to just 14 states, one of them not Colorado. They're a second tier state. I guess Texas and California are third tier or worse. $5000.00 again. Last time i looked Colorado was tied for three different polls in a row. Not interested in picking up a red state? Where is that 50 state campaign promised last year John "flip-flop" Kerry. Best staffers money can buy can't save this one. Man, Carter ran a better campaign than this one.

Not a National party anymore. Truman, Kennedy, and Johnson must be turning over in his grave.

Objects in the rear view mirror appear larger, much larger than they really are.

Peter sounds more than a bit worried to me... losing faith in the October Surprise, eh? Wearying of trying to defend Bush's disastrous record the last 3 years? I completely understand.

Don't worry, George will dominate the debates, LOL.

Hey no worry here. Just glad a network got caught. Ashame I really liked those CSI, NCIS, and Jag shows. Well maybe i'll not watch the network news programs. And i'm not much for AFC football either, PAtriots the exception. Great quarterback up there.

I hear that our states Supreme Court Chief has ordered Rather's Texas citizenship revoked. Now he's a man without a state. Such an un Texas like thing to do.

We really need Air America on the air here in Dallas/Fort Worth! Isn't Clear Channel hq'd here, though. I really can't afford XM Radio, but I may just get it. I can't be tethered to my Real One Player all the time.
