Comments: Sen. Zell Miller (R-GA)

Lets remember that Zell Miller was appointed to replace Republican senator Paul Coverdale, who died in office, by a Democratic governor. You'al got what you wanted by flipping a seat so live with it.

I am not familiar with the rules of the Dem party on this issue, but while he obviously cannot be stripped of his Senate seat (and besides he is not running again), he should be stripped of his party credentials if at all possible.

The last time they did something like that was when the D's took after Phil Gramm . . .

The really funny thing is that, fourteen years ago when Zell Miller and Roy Barnes ran for governor against each other, everyone thought Roy was too conservative and Zell was too liberal . . .
