Hah.
I got to be a Dean delegate.
Between our two conventions(pct. 147 &148) Dean got 9 delegates, Edwards got 5, some miscellaneous delegates and Kerry got 0.
15 people in all voted.
I'm a Kerry delegate too... *sigh*
Posted by Andrew D at March 9, 2004 09:46 PMI'm an alternate. There was one Edwards, one Kuchinch and one delegate slot. The Kucinich woman really seemed like she wanted to go...so I let her. Hope she has fun!
Posted by blue at March 9, 2004 10:37 PMThat didn't come out as clearly as I would like. There was one person for Edwards (me) one person for Kucinich and one delegate slot between the two of us.
Posted by blue at March 9, 2004 10:40 PMWe all (5) signed in as uncommitted to avoid the whole math bullshit. We had more delegate slots than attendees so we all got to go to SD Convention. (We also signed up 5 more persons whom we know voted). We figured why get into disagreements when this was an easy way to unite. We introduced one resolution, which passed unanimously: Don't amend the Constitution to discriminate against gays. We then adjourned and went home. It took longer to sign in the attendees and read the minutes sheet than any action taken.
