May 13, 2005Making HomesBy Karl-Thomas MusselmanSo, have you ever spent time at the Homemakers for America website? Sad to say, this place is serious. And even though I would really love to get a "Women of Freedom" candle, I'm more interested in their poll they have running, "Does NOW (National Organization of Women) speak for you?" Results are at 4% yes. You know you want to vote in it (middle left side). That would be near the Fox News petition and CitizenUSA newspaper info. Oh boy. Update: Looks like they pulled the poll, and now are asking if Hillary would make a suitable President. Yes, naturally, so go vote. Good Lord, K-T, this is hilarious. I think the poll must be down, or maybe they don't support Firefox, but I did enjoy their laundry list of objectives promoted by NOW and the comparison of NOW to Satan. (See Feminism is dying, let's give it a boost.) You would think any group that has God so firmly on her side would at least be blessed with the ability to punctuate properly. I loved "A musical tribute to americas hero's" Yeah, the spelling and such is not very good. The poll should show up, worked in my firefox browser. The link is http://www.homemakersforamerica.com/cgi-bin/survey.cgi Posted by: Karl-T at May 13, 2005 07:52 AMGood Lord these people are nuts. It's people like this that caused me to get involved in grassroots politics. If everyday, middle-of-the road people don't get involved, nut-cases like this will and run the system. Posted by: WhoMe? at May 13, 2005 08:23 AMDude, nutcases like this already do run the system. Posted by: Twisty at May 13, 2005 02:39 PMThere's a new poll about Hillary Clinton. Loved casting my yes vote. Excuse me now, I have to go burn my bra. Posted by: Annie at May 13, 2005 02:45 PMthe full URL doesn't come up for me either, but the poll is still on the front page of the site at: http://www.homemakersforamerica.com/ Posted by: tony g at May 13, 2005 11:19 PM
