October 07, 2004Texas Volunteers Flood into ArkansasBy Byron LaMastersTexans will make a difference in this presidential election, even if Texas isn't in play. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports:
If any southern state (excluding Florida) is truly in play, it is Arkansas. If Clinton's up to it, I'd have Kerry unleash him in Arkansas in the final weeks of the campaign. Wow... 75 volunteers. Texarkana. Wow. Wow... A dozen in Little Rock. Watch out GOP! Post a security detail around the Bush/Cheney headquarters. Funny thing, I haven't seen them here either (although I actually see almost as many campaign ads as voters in swing states since I never watch the networks really, mostly CNN and some MSNBC/FOX News to get my news.
