July 06, 2004Texas Tuesdays: Mark StramaBy Karl-Thomas Musselman(bumped up, Interview Link added) It's Texas Tuesdays! And though it will be swallowed up by Kerry's VP announcment, please do take the time to read about today's Candidate: Mark Strama who is running for State Representative in North Austin/Pflugerville in District 50. The official posts are as follows: The first is about the Race. The second is mine about the Campaign Academy (which I'm in). The third is an interview with Mark Strama. So read, visit his website, and then donate to one of the hottest Texas House Races in the state. (add .01 for the Internet. Give us something to report back to you!) Mark Strama is a goddam joke and I am Democrat. Posted by: HoustonDem at July 6, 2004 05:05 PMIt would be interesting to see why you think so and not just offer bland statements that add nothing to the conversation. If you think Strama is a joke, then you must be one of the people who think we are going to end up winning nothing this fall, because if people like Strama don't win, then that's what we face in my opinion. Posted by: Karl-T at July 6, 2004 05:41 PMMark Strama is a joke? Maybe if you looked at the amount of money raised during the special session, you would see that Strama raised $55,000, second only to fellow Dem Patrick Rose. Strama is going to win because he is running an extremely well organized campaign based on issues that matter to the people of District 50. I cannot wait until you eat your words on November 2 when Mark Strama beats Jack Stick. Posted by: David M. at July 6, 2004 11:28 PM
