John Kerry Fights Back

By Byron LaMasters

John Kerry may not have been my first choice for president, but I have to say, I'm damn proud of him. He's not lying when he says he's a fighter. He fights back. Bush went negative yesterday, and today, Kerry returned the fire. I'm proud of our presumptive nominee. We all should be. He's going to make a great 44th President of the United States.

You're kidding, right? If JFKII wants to win he needs to stop whining and name calling and offer a positive vision for the country, and answer the tough questions of how he will defend against terrorism, etc. He hasn't done that yet.

Boifromtroy--

Bush is really the whiny one who can't answer questions.

I am so proud of Kerrey as well. I hope he stays strong and doesn't back down one inch.

Kerry, sorry--typing fast. :)

I'm afraid Bush's positive message has escaped me. What is it we should be looking forward to? Deficits? Fear? More lies about WMD? Lack of healthcare?

Oh, right. Bush's postive message is that I have $300 more in my checking account. Yay for money!

There's an actual difference between Bonesman #1 and Bonesman #2?
NEWSFLASH: The Electoral Process is dead. All the back-and-forth for the next 8 months is just a show. We, the people, are doomed.

if you doubt what I say above, look into the company responsible for our new voting machines (Diebold) and their links to the CIA.

I'm afraid Bush's positive message has escaped me.

Hmmmm. I've always gotten the message that Bush is positively stupid.

the company responsible for our new voting machines (Diebold) and their links to the CIA.

Diebold makes ATMs too, so maybe the CIA is running our entire economy!
That should keep the LaRouche folks in a tizzy for a while. lol

Actually, the voting machines we use in Cook County come from this company.

Kerry's fighting hard; I'm a little surprised and a lot impressed. Keep it up, Senator- that's what we need.

Posted by: Brady at March 13, 2004 08:52 PM

You have to fight any negative attack by Bush when there fresh or they'll stick. So it's a good policy by the Kerry campaign. Dems have learned a thing of two since Dukakis.

Oh that and also no tanks.

Nobody should be knocking the President. He is only fighting fire with fire and putting the idiot John Kerry in his place....which is OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE. I have never fully agreed with George W. but last night that man really impressed me. Grow up John Kerry and move on...you can't win!

What do you mean lack of healthcare Jason? Bush is the "Democrat".. he passed healthcare.. something the “democrats” haven't done! Bush campaigned to pass healthcare and he stuck to his word. Besides I don’t like this democrap and republicant terminology. Bush is more Democratic than Republican.

But the real question is who can we get TRUTH, leadership, and TRUST??? Kerry has had was it 9 different positions on Iraq? Also,
• He voted for the Patriot Act, now he is against it.
• He was for the Iraq war, now he is against it
• He voted for the No Child Left Behind Act, now he is against it.
• He voted for marriage, now he is going opposite.

These were some big issues, some important ones. He is quite flip floppy it seems. How can I find any truthfulness in Kerry? What about trust? Tell me what kind of LEADERSHIP is this!!? I don’t know this man.. his personality, or what he is thinking. I don’t know what he stands for.. is this just for the votes? To be different from Bush? Tell me why I should trust him??? Even back then, Vietnam, he turned on that, it still shows doesn’t it?

Hey you “Republicans” maybe I should call you democrats, you think he is a true Republican?? Well why did government grow under him when he promised to reduce it? Like what Jason said about expecting deficits. What was up with giving “citizenship” to ILLEGAL Mexicans? This sounds like “Red” Davis. And what is healthcare doing around with a Republican?

Well we can’t have a perfect candidate this time.. but I have to be able to trust a candidate at least don’t you agree? At least Bush tells it like it is and has leadership. He is actually trustworthy.

Hey I am only 19 years old, I am in my 3rd year of hardcore liberal college, and a son of a Vietnam Veteran. I can get this through my head.. what else do I need? And sure I am open to suggestions. But you have to answer my question: How can I trust Kerry?
