| Thanks to Annatopia for reminding us of this one. Elected as part of the 1994 class of senators, some of whom promised to only serve 2 terms (a la Bill Frist), Sen. Hutchison is most certainly running for re-election this year, in violation of her pledge to only serve 2 terms.
"I've always said that I would serve no more than two full terms. This may be my last term or I could run for one more. But no more after that. I firmly believe in term limitations and I plan to adhere to that," Hutchison said.
